Hi! I’m Silke, the owner of the blog SilSights. I would love to tell you more about me. I am a twenty-five year old Dutchie who is totally addicted to traveling.

I studied Human Resource Management at the HAN in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. When I finished this study, I studied the master Business Administration, with the specialization Marketing, at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Now I can call myself: Master of Science! I switched from Human Resource Management to Marketing because I was looking for a more creative field. Currently, I am a full time Online Marketeer (for the employment agency Abeos) with the ambition to one day be able to travel for an extended period through remote working.

Travelling had always been a great passion. I was always counting the days down until the next holiday. I used to go on vacation with my parents often. We often went to France together, but we also visited Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Austria and Spain, among other places. I have been in a relationship with the love of my life (Michiel) for more than six years now. Together we have visited many Greek islands, but we also like a city trip now and then. We are real travel fanatics and hope to make longer trips one day.

Going on holiday with me means: hundreds of pictures. After every holiday there are thousands of new photos on my iPhone. During the lockdown because of the corona virus, I thought of sharing all these holiday photos on an Instagram account: SilSights arises! With my passion for content creation, photography and writing, I hope to inspire you with a lot of travel content!
